Your needs may or may not be best me by me. Regardless, the Certified Financial Planning Board Code of Ethics recommends that you look at the following qualities in a Financial Planner
- Objectivity. Fairness. Determines & provides the level of advise & planning you choose:
- Reviews and consultation for do-it-yourselfers
- Taxes and ongoing advisement & monitoring
- Full Management of accounts & investments
- Competence, Professionalism, Diligence: Knows your financial goals and tailors plans to them
- Professionalism, Competence: Has broad education and experience. Keeps abreast of his/her profession through ongoing education and professional & community involvement.
- Fairness. Diligence: Provides you with good-faith estimates of service costs. No one is Â?too poorÂ? to obtain good advice. Those with the fewest resources are those most in need of planning advice. If the planner cannot help you personally, they should advise you to whom else you might turn.
- I believe Â?it takes a villageÂ? to raise & keep strong communities in which we live. I am involved in scouting and local environmental issues.
